The Adobe Content Viewer is an application used to preview Adobe Digital Publishing Suite folios and articles on the desktop or on a mobile device. It is installed with the Folio Producer tools in InDesign or can be downloaded to the mobile device from iTunes. The Preview option is accessed from the Folio Builder and Folio Overlays panels and launches the Desktop Viewer or Adobe Content Viewer on the attached device. It can be found under the File menu in InDesign.

While building articles and folios, especially those that contain interactive overlays, the Adobe Content Viewer is an essential tool to preview layouts and to simulate how the app will behave for the user.

See Adobe’s Preview Folios and Articles page for additional information on previewing folios and articles while building an app.
