The winners of the 2013 National Magazine Awards were announced on May 2, at the American Society of Magazine Editors’ annual award presentation in New York.

The Highlights

  • New York was named Magazine of the Year.
  • The Atlantic, New York, and Texas Monthly each won two awards.
  • National Geographic won four awards, including two for digital media.
  • Two digital-only publications, Pitchfork and Slate, won awards.
