Adobe Digital Publishing Suite v32.2, released Oct. 20, includes the following bug fixes for iOS and Android viewers, as listed on Adobe’s DPS Bug Fix Release Notes page:
iOS viewer
- When multiple MSOs on the same page are set to Auto Play, all of them will now auto-play on iOS 8 devices. Previously, only the first MSO would auto-play.
- When an app is launched, the horizontal splash screen will no longer quickly switch to the vertical splash screen before fading out.
- Users can now re-enter Preview on Device from library on iOS 8 devices.
- Users can now tap a text notification link and it will work properly, even when the open custom library is set to auto-launch.
- Links from text notifications will open even if the app isn’t running in the background.
- The welcome screen now honors device orientation properly on iOS 8 devices.
- The welcome screen now scales correctly when the iOS 8 device is rotated.
- Folio formats v17 or earlier will now render properly in v32 apps.
- For single-orientation folios on iOS 8 devices, there are no longer article redraw problems when exiting full-screen videos.
- States now load correctly in slideshow overlays on iOS 8 devices.
- The release also fixed a number of bugs related to crashes caused by orientation changes.
Android viewer
- There are no longer problems with navto links in HTML articles and webviews.
- An issue with links in a custom library going to an external browser was fixed.
- Mailto: is now supported in a custom library.
