We’ve been hoping to do something that spotlights women in the media and publishing industry for a while. This month, I’m very excited to announce our Women in Media blog, something we’ve had in the works for quite some time. As an all-female consulting team, we’re especially aware of the hard work it takes to be successful in the publishing and media industry. In the past decade, women have stepped to the forefront of technology, media, and publishing in a way that’s never been seen before, and their contributions are changing the face of the industry. Women are leading in new and different ways at a very exciting time, as the economy is in an upswing, and as the digital age changes everything we know about consuming content. We’ve had great support from our community as we’ve shaped this over the past few months, and we hope that you find it one more way that TFP helps you to keep your finger on the pulse of what’s new—and what to watch for.

In the blog, we’ll be spotlighting the top movers and shakers in the industry—never before has there been such a shift of women into leadership roles. We’ll keep you apprised of who they are, and what you can learn from them. In addition, we’ll be conducting our own personal interviews with these leading women so that you can hear from them directly about how they are approaching their content worlds and executing success.

Technology for Publishing’s Women in Media blog highlights the news and achievements of female leaders and role models in the publishing and media industry. Look for our monthly in-depth profiles and interviews of top women to watch. Is there someone you’d like to nominate for an upcoming Q&A? Drop us a note!
