- According to comScore’s 2013 U.S. Digital Future in Focus report, rapid adoption of smartphones and tablets “has resulted in a fragmented digital media landscape,” with consumers dividing their time among multiple screens. You can read the full report by downloading it from comScore’s website.
- Both Forbes and The Wall Street Journal are reporting that almost a third of their online traffic now comes from mobile. While Forbes credits some of its growth to social network referrals, both publications point to their efforts to give readers seamless access to content regardless of the device they’re using.
- In an interview on our Women in Media blog, Siobhan O’Connor, Executive Editor of Prevention and Prevention.com, talks about the recent relaunch of the magazine and website, the benefits of integrating print and digital resources, and the skills she thinks are most valuable for aspiring editors.
- On the TFP blog, we share some insights we’ve gained through our experiences with publishers’ digital reinvention efforts and help you identify what to focus on if you’re struggling to make digital work.
- Learn how to save time by adding multiple articles to a folio at once using the Import function in the Folio Builder, on TFP’s DPS Tips blog.
- Cooking Light experienced significant increases in unique visitors, page views, social media referrals, and mobile traffic last month, thanks in part to Pinterest. The magazine monitors the virtual pinboard to identify trends and adjusts the content of its home page and its Facebook and Twitter feeds accordingly.
