Several changes to the mastheads of some leading publications have been announced over the past week. Here’s a roundup of some of the latest news highlighting women’s roles in the evolving media landscape:

  • Amy Maclin is the new Executive Editor at O, The Oprah Magazine. She joins the publication from Real Simple, where she was Deputy Editor. She was previously Executive Editor at Whole Living.
  • Laura Kalehoff has been named Editor in Chief of two AMI publications, Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health. Most recently, she was Executive Editor of Meredith’s American Baby.
  • Connie Anne Phillips is joining Glamour as President and Publisher, having left the role of Publisher of Time Inc.’s InStyle last month. This marks a return to Condé Nast for Phillips, who worked for the company for 14 years, most recently as Associate Publisher at Vogue, before moving to InStyle in 2009.
  • Condé Nast has also announced that Editor in Chief Brandon Holley has left Lucky magazine and is being replaced by Eva Chen, who has been working with the magazine as a consultant.
  • Carolyn Kremins

    In other Condé Nast news, Carolyn Kremins has been promoted to the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager of recipe site Epicurious. She had been serving as Vice President and Publisher of Condé Nast Traveler. Kremins is filling a role vacated by Beth-Ann Eason, who is moving over to Condé’s ZipList, a website and app for shopping lists and recipes, as Senior Vice President of Digital Development and General Manager.
