With all the noise around social media’s potential to drive sales and brand awareness, you’d think it would be at the top of every CMO’s list. But that’s not the case, according to an OutMarket infographic posted on the SocialTimes website. While highlighting social marketing’s strengths, it shows that 50% of C-suite officers aren’t sold on the value of social media, and when it comes to marketing strategy, social campaigns rank only sixth in terms of importance.
