As our pick from Buzzstream and Fractl shows, big news outlets posting large volumes of content far outpace smaller new media companies when it comes to number of followers on top networks like Facebook and Twitter. But it also notes that whether in the niche or bulk category, publishers are increasingly finding success on emerging platforms like Instagram as well.
