Consumer Reports, publisher of the product-testing magazine of the same name, has hired Diane Salvatore as Senior Director, Content Strategy and Delivery.

Consumer Reports cover imageAccording to a press release, Salvatore “will lead the way in developing and implementing a content strategy for CR’s extensive portfolio of digital and print products and services, including flagship properties Consumer Reports magazine … and ConsumerReports.org. … She will oversee a team of reporters, editors, and content creators who interact with CR’s army of lab testers covering everything from electronics to autos to home and health.”

Salvatore’s previous roles include Editor in Chief of Prevention, Ladies’ Home Journal, and YM magazines, and Vice President/Publisher of Random House’s Broadway Books, in addition to positions at Good Housekeeping, Redbook, and Glamour.
